GE Healthcare and the University of Phoenix have teamed up to offer college credits for GE Clinical Systems Technical Training Classes.

GE initially launched the program for its own service engineers, but has extended it to Biomeds taking training classes at GE Healthcare.

The credits which can be used towards Bachelors and Masters Degress. To date there are forty-three technical classes eligible for the college credit.

“Because of training courses you have completed with GE Healthcare or previous employers, you may be closer to earning your college degree than you think. Many training courses may qualify you for college credits toward your bachelor’s degree at University of Phoenix.*

University of Phoenix recognizes that learning can take place outside the classroom. With our prior learning assessment portfolio process, you can find out if your learning is equivalent to academic curriculum and is eligible for college credit. Learning that may be eligible for portfolio assessment includes training through your employer, licenses, professional designations, and coursework earned at other institutions and experiential essays.
