Apple recently announced the new iPhone OS version 3.0 which will be coming along with a new development kit for programers called the SDK. Since then I have seen many articles and announcements of new iPhone specific medical products, software, and technologies… not to mention the many blog posts on the web.
All this got me thinking…. Will Biomed shops accross the country start tagging and inspecting iPhones? Now, before you jump in with a big no and a laugh, take this in to consideration:

So, will we be tagging and inspection iPhones soon? You tell me!!!! Hey, maybe someone will come up with a patient simulator/electrical safety analyser/x-ray phantom/etc app for the iPhone…
