When Medtronics(MDT: 43.97 -0.66 -1.48%, vol: 1,518,709, 52wk: 25.03 - 46.66) suspended shipments of its Physio Contol LIFEPAK Defibs in January 2007 the only reasons given were “quality control issues”.
